A young hen was rescued in New York City with severe string feet. The vet removed all the visible string. She was not positive that there is no more in the deep cut in the worse foot. Once recovered, they remain handicapped to some extent for life. One thing I noticed though is that baths calms them and helps their recovery. They enjoy enormously bathing.
