Hi, my baby looks just like the one in the first video, I'm using a modified bottle for feeding which is working really well but how can I be sure baby is getting enough?? I feed until crop looks nice and full and baby happily rests between feeds( 4 a day) but I just want to be sure

If the crop is nice a full and the baby is happy, it sounds like you're doing a great job.
Just make sure the crop is empty before another feeding is due.

How do the droppings look?

baby's droppings look fine as far as droppings go, they are of good consistency and normal colour, I will monitor them closely though as I have only had baby 2 days and know (s)he will need to adapt to shop feed instead of mums own mix :) I only feed up to 4 times in a day but I'm up at 6am and give him first feed then so i can continue with my daily routine... really appreciate all the support

It sounds like you're doing everything right! How much food are you giving him per meal?

Binkey takes around 20-25 ml's roughly at meal times I think, I say think because first day I had him I only had a plastic spoon to feed him and that's how much he was eating before he looked full, but now I have the bottle I can't say exactly but again I feed until his crop looks nice and full and he settles down to relax after feeding, no squawking for more so hopefully that's a gd sign... when should i offer him solid food from a bowl and what is best to offer?? also as to his "type" do pigeons make more noise than doves because he's never been a loud baby, very vocal at meal time and if I have left room then come back he gives a squeak of acknowledgement when he hears my voice, but his squeaks r quiet and soft??

20ml per feed is fine. I never exceed that so as not to overstretch the crop.

Squeakers need to start learning to eat solid food at about 3 weeks of age. This is an excellent way to do the transition:
