I was wondering if you could mention what questions you ask?
(I guess I mean: spell it out for me! )

For example, are you asking the vets if they treat feral pigeons? Or pet pigeons? Or both? Stuff like that.

I'd like to know for sure what to ask so I don't miss anything if I get a chance to call someone. Maybe other people are wondering, too.

That's exactely what to ask ... also ask if the vet has experience with pigeons. ...if they like pigeons at the clinic. In my experience the persobn that answers the phone is happy to chat about the clinic. You should be able to get a good feeling about the doctor and clinic about the exchange you have with the person you ask the question.
I always tell them about our forum and ask them if it's ok to include the clinic in our resource directory. I ask them if I can send a link to the site. If they say yes, I do.
Also, ask the cost of an office visit so we can include that in comments.

Tech...this is a list of vets that I haven't contacted yet to see if they will treat pigeons. I found this list while searching for a vet in Bulgaria and so I though I'd add the list and all of you can help me call them to ask.
Your vet is in Matilda's List which is a confirmed list of pigeon friendly veterinarians and rehabbers.

Tech...I just checked...he is on Matilda's list. I had accidentally put him under rehabbers and I fixed it.

Dr Harris at Avian&Exotics, Miami,Fl will see pigeons, ferals or whatever.
Visit fee no less than 340. Can get up to 1000.
Surgeries are 1000 +.
Emergency fee 170 on top of the regular fee.
