Hello Charis!

We really really need help finding loving homes for 6 rock doves. Most of them are banded. Can you help us again??

I suspect this is only a sampling of the pigeons that need placement at Wildcare.
I have emailed Lela, asking if she know the gender of any of the birds.

First she has to find out what the sex of the Tufts bird is, and not sure about her going to the cape for it. I'll keep it in mind when I hear from her.

We can't afford the shipping at this time, I was thinking that if they would ship I'm sure more people would be willing to adopt.

I agree with you Robin. Definitely, more people would adopt if they didn't have to drive to the Cape in traffic from devil. So even if you are from New England, it's a terrible drive.

If they could be persuaded, I suspect they would pay for the costs of shipping and who knows...they may even have the ability to do some sort of delivery train.

She did not respond to my question regarding the gender of the birds they need to place. I seem to remember though, that she isn't there on Fridays.

Okay, so put Don Juan next to the other birds one at a time, and see how he responds. Happy

I could help with transport for the next 2 weekends. For a job I am currently working, I will be in Carver, MA (which is about 30 minutes from the Cape), and Providence, RI Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. I can transport the bird(s) back with me to NY.
