Are you watching Autumn Watch?

This is an amazing programme and I love Chris Packham . They were talking about the pigeons being able to see the magnetic field of the earth last night, which has also been mentioned on another post on the forum.

Chris is of the opinion that every living creature (even wasps ) deserves to be treated with respect and I bet he'd love what we're doing on here, trying to protect a bird which some people feel is a pest.

It's on at 9pm on a Friday night for the next 6 weeks and Autumn Watch Unsprung is on after it which is so entertaining. It's repeated again on Saturday at about 6pm and for those of you overseas I think you should be able to view the BBC iPlayer at http://www.bbc.co.uk/autumnwatch/ Just click on 'shows' across the top menu.

I have access to the BBC channel so will take a look to see what time the program comes on over here.

I just tried the link but it said the content wasn't working at the moment and suggested trying later, which I will do.

Chris is my kind of human...evolved as are we. I want to watch it too.

Just tested the link and it's working again. Chris Packham has been a naturalist (nearly typed naturist then!!) since he was a little boy. His knowledge is unbeatable.

They had a sparrow hawk in on the first programme - I'd just done a falconry day learning how to fly a Harris Hawk, and watching them tether up the sparrow hawk onto Kate's arm was great as I knew what they were doing and why.

Then they had a tame bat on last night - it was beautiful.

Sometimes the links don't work for those of us that are not in the UK. It still doesn't work for me.

I tried that as well. Although several options come up, the page you linked to still says it's not accessible. However . . .
I did click on this link and some information comes up, to include the video but still can't access it.
There is a interesting video about Starlings, LOTS of Starlings, that's accessible.
