| Yes, she's a dove, probably an escaped pet because she's VERY tame. (Is she a collared dove?) She was adopted by a flock of feral pigeons and the old gents who habitually feed them named her Lolita. What a lovely sight! | |

| It is in deed, Euro-Asian collared dove. I have in my garden visiting African Mourning (Collared-) Doves from time to time and they are looking the same except bit bigger. | |

They visit our backyard on occasion. In fact, it was one of those occasions that a ring neck (collared) dove probably saved Whitefeather's life. One began feeding her when I was at a loss as what to do. I'm 100% confident she knew we (me and Whitefeather) needed big time. It was truly an incredible and most welcome sight. - Teresa wrote:
