My beautiful Piper

I think it's about time Piper got a mention, as usually my patients hog all the air time!

She's been with me for almost 3 years, since she was found by my dog with serious (predator) injuries to her right wing. She survived, but the vet declared her unreleaseable: she cannot fly more than a couple of metres.
She has been very tame from day one, and it's just NICE to have ONE pigeon who doesn't peck me!

I hear ya about enjoying having ONE bird that doesn't bite. Mine would be Little Dove. Phoenix never bit either.
