I'd seen this article before. I remember that Elizabeth was rather unhappy at being misrepresented on several counts, and especially at the fact that the newspaper associated her scars with her pigeons, and the two were not connected, the scars being from another rescue (geese, I think, but I'm not sure).
The response to this article in the press was extreme, from both ends of the spectrum, with pigeon haters being so offensive that even I lost it.
On the surface, the writing seems positive enough though, when compared to the virulent offerings from most of the press... :For Shame:
