Priest in troulbe for feeding the Pigeons

Neighbors complain of Pigeon dive bombing them... ...I've never known of Pigeons to do that.

I've sure never heard of any pigeons 'dive bombing' people.
Sorry, but it sounds a bit far fetched to me.

I've read the article and the pathetic comments it generated. It's tiring.
So I registered with the paper and left this comment:

And then everybody can go right back to pulling hair and scratching eyes about God or whatever...

This statement from the article is so ignorant: 'Local councillor James Shorrock said: “With respect to religion, these aren’t white doves coming down from heaven, they are vermin carrying disease.'

Stupid people.

Yes, the coucillor sounds ignorant and prejudiced, but unfortunately that is not surprising.
And the positive comments posted presented no better argument than 'They're also God's children', which I agree with, but led to an almighty scrap about the existance of God or not. In the middle of it all, everyone seemed to forget the pigeons, and nobody had addressed the misinformation -- that was the approach I chose.
