Ants can be deadly to confined birds.
Babies and birds with health, physical and neurological issues are especially vulnerable.

PLEASE take immediate action to remove any ants that you see around confined birds.

Even if there are only a few, as shown in the photo, you can bet there are many more to follow.

If you do come across a pigeon that is being attacked by ants, I would suggest submerging the bird's body in room temperature water as the most efficient way to remove the ants. Do not spend time picking them off the bird. This takes too much time, not to mention the pain the pigeon is enduring from the ant bites.
