| Meet our newest pigeon resident... I read the post over on PT how the woman who found Mario contacted the owner about taking Mario back & was told to just let him go and maybe he'll find his way home. Not surprised to hear that the breeder said this. After Kim, the finder, learned more about some breeders that cull lost birds she decided to find a new home for Mario, thats where we stepped in. Mario is this years baby. He/she is in quarentine for the next 30 days... barring no health problems. | |

| Pretty little bird Robin, and I think it looks like a male. Something about his cocky little straight forward look. You'll have to let us know later, when you figure it out. Since the other girl had him for a week, you only have to isolate him for another 3 weeks, and that would make a month. So that he could meet all his new friends earlier. | |

| Mario looks like a real star! And who knows if he failed to complete the race because he knew he'd much rather be somewhere else, i.e. the sanctuary! Thank you for taking him in, Robin! I'm sure he'll be very happy with you, and if the glint in his eyes is anything to go by, you'll have a lot of fun with him, and hopefully we'll get some ace pics! How did Kim come by him? Did he just stray or did he need rescuing? | |

| Jay made a good point Robin. Since the bird was already removed from other birds for a week while in the finder's care, probably another 3 weeks in quarantine is good enough. | |

Sounds good to me too I'm thinking about putting him & Indigo and maybe even Precious side by side... of course after the three weeks, just to see how they all react. | |
