This wonderful sanctuary does not discriminated between species. They can take all sick and injured Pigeons.
Pet Pigeons that need placement are taken on an individual basis. Currently they have over 70 Pigeons in their aviary.
Some of the permanent residents have been used in research and were scheduled for euthanasia.
Fortunately, the sanctuary intervened. The other Pigeon residents are disabled and cannot be released.
They also accept Starlings and House Sparrows.
Hours are 7 days a week, 8 AM-5 PM Central Mountain Time. After hours the line becomes an emergency contact.
