Micaboo & Mickacoo need help with fundraiser

Hello!

I am writing to ask for your help.

With your support, Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue and MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue have a chance to win a $50,000 Pepsi Refresh grant!

Together, Mickaboo & 'Coo have to raise $20,000 every month to pay for the avian vet care that hundreds of abandoned and surrendered birds in our foster care require. Birds like these pictured from SFACC. Our vet bills have gone up 41% the past year and donations are not increasing at the same rate. We are in a financial crisis.

PLEASE help us by voting for Mickaboo every day this month AND by asking all of your friends and family members and colleagues to vote for us as well. We are competing against HUNDREDS of worthy causes and we won't win without YOUR support.

Voted for the third time! I really hope they win the money because they really do deserve it!

I hope so too! It's a hard call as many of the other nominees are very worthy causes too, but I'm continuing to vote for Mickacoo because there are fewer people sympathetic to the cause of pigeons than to those others, so it's very much up to us.
It's also good to bring the welfare of pigeons and other rescued birds to the attention of the public.

We need a LOT more help! You can help by sharing the link on your facebook, sending it in emails to everyone you know, adding it to your signatures on forums and such, etc. We dropped from the 50's to the 80's.

I just cast today's vote, and they went down from 52nd place to 90th! And they need to be in the first 10 to win the grant...
Maybe some people only voted once, didn't realise we need to vote every day.

56th place among so many worthy causes was very respectable indeed!
But of course the prize money would be even better, as it would make a huge difference to the rescues.
