| My sweet Gallahad, The world became less bright today when you departed so unexpectedly. You were the most cheerful pigeon I've ever known, happy, gentle and confident. Clever enough to know that a clenched hand was full of treats and fast enough to claim them! Always the knight in shining feathers, even yesterday you brought me a little hen that needed help. I will never be able to open my window without thinking of you. May the guardian angels give you handfuls of treats.  (Video of Gallahad coming in for treats. It never gets easier. No, he wasn't, the thieves were Grumpy and Storm. Gallahad used to land on the windowsill and wait for me there. He only came in when invited.  | |
