| Funny how pigeons seem to take over when they are inside. Those babies are absolutely in the lap of luxury :)
They look so wonderfully curious about everything. As Cynthia often says about them, they are such innocent little beings, pigeons, and so lovable.
Great update!

| Thanks guys! They sure are growing quickly and are so adorable! I am shocked at how much affection they show  Today they had a bath, they both loved it! Both were splashing around and having a ball Eventually they both wanted out, and try as they might, they couldn't fly out of the tub, lol. Sooo, Diva sulked in a corner and Ozzy took advantage of that - he jumped onto her back, stepped on her head and jumped out, lol! :lol!: Too funny Oh, now I have a question for you wise ones I used a heat lamp for their heat source. At what age do they no longer need it (for digestion)? I will always keep it on hand (for helping them dry off and warm up after a bath, when it's cold, etc), but just wasn't sure if I need to keep it on them all the time or not. They rarely sleep under it, they hang out on the other end of the cage :Rolling eyes: | |

| They don't need the heat lamp any longer because they are feathered. | |

| Dolly and Dumpling were the same way. In fact, Dolly (AKA Big D. He turned out NOT to be the cute little hen I thought he was) still gets into trouble with his Grandpa nearly on a daily basis. :For Shame: And then of course Dumpling is right behind him. :For Shame: The whole lot of them is so much fun to watch. | |

| I either need to learn to use Sean's video camera or get one myself as there's never a dull moment in that aviary, unless it's in the afternoon when they are all napping. Even Dolly takes a break now and then. | |

| :lol!: Diva and Ozzy are so cool together...Diva is now the more mature and calmer one, while Ozzy has taken to hissy fits and begging for the bottle, lol! Diva is more content to eat her seed, sit on my shoulder and enjoy the time we spend together. Oz is a brat | |

| Gotta love the different personalities. Dolly was actually the smallest of the two. Very timid. He turned out to be the male and the one who is always getting into something. He also took after his Dad and Grandpa, who are both white Old Dutch Capuchines. So we now have three generation, white, Old Dutch Capuchines that are all male. | |

| Aww they sound so very sweet! I would love to have more some day, but I think I will wait until we have a house, so I can have a proper aviary :) | |

| Pigeons do seem to enjoy earings and such. When I had Sammy and Romey in the house, it wasn't unusual for earrings to go missing while they were building or improving their nest. If i couldn't find an earring, their nest was the first and most often the last place I looked. | |

| These are their new digs - they are now in the living/dining room with all of us (re: critters). They are in a smaller cage right now, but it allows them to have more free room to fly and play while Gary and I are playing games or watching tv or whatever. They have the coolest spot, as the AC is out here and we have fans placed around to blow to air around. So far Cate is unimpressed at them being so close to her, but they are far enough apart so no bites Chili is in the cage below the birds, for now, as we're moving the empty fish tank and will put the birds on that stand :) I'm quite pleased, as I was trying to figure out how to have everyone out here and not hidden away Yes I had to move a few things, Diva was trying to snag my latest pearl bracelet :P LOL! | |

| It's good to be back Ozzy and Diva are now asking to come out of the cage more, bobbing their heads and cooing at me (and me trying to coo back at them). I'm very pleased to have them out here now, they feel more a part of the family | |
