She is just like the fancy bird I had a short while ago. I said to Cynthia the other day I wish I'd not re-homed her as I think Bootsie would have loved her.

They are so unusual, I'd never seen one like it before.

What a funny little face! I have never seen a pijjie like this one in reality! So cute

It's interesting, the different shapes and sizes of some pigeon beaks.

Little Linda has moved into the loft and has taken up with Misty, who is one of my first pigeons. He's 2 1/2 years old and she's his first mate. They are busy building a nest. Linda didn't want her picture taken because she's going through a head molt and her pretty bangs are messed up.

I love that picture, even though Little Linda (that name suits her perfectly) is kind of about her bangs.

Oh how funny is that????? Miss Linda being ashamed of herself. To be honest I think pijies may really have those kind of feelings sometimes - I have realized when you laugh about a funny situation they can feel upset for a moment. In fact they have their pride

How is LInda fitting in now, Jen?

Linda is doing just fine. She and Misty are sitting on their first clutch together. Misty needs a bit more practice. This is his first time and he tends to get distracted when he sees me and leaves the nest to go see what I'm doing. But he's doing really well for his first time. I just need to tip toe around him so he can concentrate on his job.

Of course we'd like to see a picture of them, when you have the chance. Yjanks for the up date

She's just gorgeous! Can you even imagine having a whole loft of those birds? And little baby birds with bangs? I just love that funny little face. He may have waited a while for a mate, but he sure did well in the end.
