Mung Beans

Hello All:

I just read that dried beans are not safe for pigeons to eat. I found mung beans at Jedds website so I start feeding my pijs mung beans for a week now and they love it so much. I hope mung beans is not included in the "not safe list"? So far, they're doing good but if someone could advise me while it is still early, I would appreciate it.

They are ok in moderation.

I'm still trying to find out if Pigeon peas are safe for my pigeons. Online it said someones chickens were eating them, but they are actually beans, just very small. I think they'd love them, but I want to make sure that they are safe first.
