| Very rarely do I get a decent shot of one of the birds landing. The other day while I was cleaning and Malio was gathering pine needles for Sadie I was finally successful.

| Then . . . I turned around and Samantha was landing in her area. Success once again. I was pleased!! | |

| Janet. What I do in these cases is focus the camera where I know they are going to land. As soon as they are in the sight of my lens I click and hope for the best. | |

great captures Hello Fancyfeathers: Very lovely pair. I see in your picture the green carpet/rug thing on their cage floor. What is it? My pijjies love to peck on my chair's fine hairy fabric and also on the fur rug which I keep aside when they're out of cage since Piggy vomited those furs once. It's good she vomited the fur or else I would not know they had been constantly pecking on it which obviously is dangerous to their system. Id like to put something safe on their cage where they could play or peck on. Thanks, Tech

Thank you, Tech. It's a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. I have a piece on each of the 'pairs' perching area within the aviary. It works great.

| Marvellous pictures, Cindy I haven't even tried until today to catch them landing or while in flight because I would need a lot of time standing at the balustrade to wait for the right moment but it's definitely in my plan. I need some warmer temperatures - at the moment it is simply too cold... | |

You're exactly right, Petra. I've stood in one spot for so long that my arms get tired. But I just keep thinking, "OK any second now". That would definitely be not work for me either.
