Cats love them too - when my Philipp was still with me he always munched on the spider plants - which drove me nuts because they always looked like exploded green salads...

this is the part where they can jump and fly around:



Emma's and Pete's nest is on the right side - not to be seen in this photo - and there are much more spider plants which regularly get caked during summer....

I love all the plants.
And so many nooks and crannies for the pijjies.

Well that gives you lots of time to just plan and enjoy thinking about how you want it. That's half the fun!

Ain't that the truth! So far I've had to change the plans for the loft But I like the new plans better trying to figure out how to run the 2 exhaust fans by solar energy and not electric.

I've made the feed/ work room larger so our German Sheperd dog can sleep in there to guard the loft.

Lots of extras I want to add but trying to keep the cost down, which isn't easy!

Petra your red flowering cactus is just beautiful!!!! In fact all your plants are great!

Well it sounds like you're getting it all figured out, and can maybe use the extra time. Everyone always wants to change something once they get it done. More time to plan is probably a good thing. I wish I could make some changes, but I do like our loft. Maybe just a few little changes. LOL.
