PERFECT PIGEON ANGEL

I posted a picture of our Bishop today, and Charis called it "THE PURFECT PIGEON ANGEL", so I thought I would post it on Pij-N-Angels.

wow what a perfect pose...looks like we could use Bishop's pic to denote pigeon angels from now on instead of the emoticon :)

A couple years ago, when I was photographing my birds a lot, I was getting ready to take a picture of Mikko and Pij'tte.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see Samantha (Mikko and Pij'ette's daughter) getting ready to fly across the aviary to her basket (which was located just outside the picture in the right corner) so I focused on the entire area in hopes of getting a shot of her wings fully extended. Instead I got them just closing.

I have a similar shot. This picture of Penny was taken in my loft. I was going to do something with it so I blacked out the background. I wish I didn't cut off his head and tail. :(

Nice shot. How did you cut off his head and tail? The pic just wouldn't fit here?

Thank you Nightowl - it was such a great feeling - I could have giggled all the time because they were just jumping on top of one another to get to the seeds - so funny!

You have nice birds. They looked so cute mobbing you. Mine do that for peanut pieces, but half the time they end up fighting over them and wing slapping each other, landing on each others backs.......................................It's awful. They start out nice, but then their peanut greed takes over. LOL. I think mine need to get some manners. Yours already seem to have them. Of course, some of mine were hand raised, and have no fear of me whatsoever. No respect, but no fear. LOL. I'm going to make them watch your slideshow a few dozen times, and maybe they'll learn a little class. LOL.
