These are 9 of the 14 photos I submitted to the Lafayette College Photo Exhibit being held in honor of Darwin's 200th birthday. They finally told me that all were accepted and are part of the show!!! Now if I could only be as successful with photo sales on my own site .... Anyway, there was a request here on PA to see them (in the Photo Exhibit thread) and, for some reason, I couldn't post them...so I sent them to Charis....who couldn't pull them from the eMail...so she sent them to Cindy....who worked her magic and ... WALA!!! Thank you for the team work, ladies!!

Everytime I see one of your photos... I sit with my jaw dropped. :WHAT?: You have the knack of catching the pure emotion from whatever your shooting. It's BRILLANT and stunning! Every little detail just seems to pop... along with catching the light at just the right moment...

Agree...the babies are sooo adorable and cute Also love the water droplets pic and the ones where you have so brilliantly captured the eyes of your pijjies

Fittingly, Magellan was our very 1st pigeon, Luna was our 1st grandegg...and Azore & Orion were Magellan's 1st babies (& our 2nd & 3rd grandeggs). As for my camera, ii's a Nikon D200 DSLR and the lens used for this shot is a 105mm "portrait lens" with a haze filter. This is the camera I have dreamed of owning for years!!!! I did a little bit of post-processing work in Adobe Lightroom (Photoshop's "sister") but only really basic stuff. Have I said how much I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!!
