Thought you might like to see our balcony flock having their breakfast. We have an incredible hard winter this year so many are coming to get their share....
There is a nearly white pigeon among the flock - this is a youngster we called "Fluffy" - s/he loves to sit in one of the hanging pots especially when the sun is shining. Such a beautiful creature. His parents are both checkered grays - so I wonder how it is possible that they got such a child. Btw - they did the same as Willy and Winnie last year - they brought their child to our balcony to show him where he can get something to eat although we really don't have a relationship with this pair. Since then he appears every day. Isn't that sweet??

That was a nice video. Guess you have lots of guests at breakfast time. Thanks for sharing it. Putting down the screen and carpet to put the food on is a good idea.

Fluffy is beautiful...looks like a she to me...she really stands out in the flock. Do her parents come to eat?

Charis, I honestly do not know as I cannot identify them any more. I could only say that they were the parents from their behaviour in the first days when Fluffy was here. Now it is impossible as there are so many similar looking pijjies - I never had the time to look for some special marks. Btw - I also thought it might be a she - if that's the case it would be the perfect mate for Angelo (my avatar) - they would produce outstanding children -
