To my baby, Salt..be safe my angel and i know you are now free from all pain

I know you are now in heaven, with all the love and care. You were in terrible pain and we knew how difficult it would have been for you to not be able to eat or drink and be on drips for days together You were such a sweet little angel, but now i know you are free from all the pain, healthy again...can eat what you want and have lots of other angels like you, for company.

We miss you a lot Salt We will take care of your sister and hope she makes it You are there with us, in our hearts, near us and i know i will be with you one day, very soon, to play with you and cuddle you Until then, my angel, take care of yourself and always be near me



Salt was the white angel that left us to be on the other side of the rainbow bridge. His sister Pepper, continues to be critical and we are praying for her recovery

Oh Priya! I'm so very sorry to read this. Sometimes... we are palced in the way of the fallen ones so that we can give them comfort in their time of need. You and Dev BOTH have done just that. It is the love in your heart that will make all the difference in the world. To know that he is over the Rainbow bridge in the loving arms of a family. .. is how he would have wanted it to be! Our hearts will mend.. God does not give us more than we can take..... He has many of my angels to gather with him... and someday we shall all meet in a place that doesn't have us so geographically far away... ((( Wish I was there to hug you guys)))... Pepper too passed away today morning She suffered more than Salt so much so that we finally prayed that she gets relieved from this torture and that the end come soon
What the two tiny kittens underwent is beyond our description they suffered a lot At least they are now in peace and away from all that excruciating pain The family that adopted them are also heart broken

Rest in peace my sweet angels (and the other cat too that passed away today at the clinic) you all are greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts and memories

Priya - I know I sent you a message on FB as well - but I am so so very sorry to read about Salt & Pepper's passing (and the other cat at the clinic). The conditions at the clinic as you described them to me are just criminal -- my heart aches to think of those poor kittens being in such an environment for so long before you and others rescued them. You showed them love and compassion at a time when they so needed it so very much. You are right - they are pain free now, able to eat all the goodies they couldn't here on earth. And they have lots of playmates to keep them company and show them around. My heart goes out to you and Dev -- my hearfelt love and comforting {{{{hugs}}}} to you both.

I am so very sorry Priya. This is such a painful loss all together.

The blessing for them is they are not alone and can share their new life together and be free again.

Priya - just reading and I can hardly type this because I am crying. These kittens are so sweet and they are gone now. What can I say else. Angels they have become but they are missed nevertheless so much - I can feel it. I am somewhat lost as I ask why. So much pain...

We are still at a loss...i feel such a deep void inside me...there is a lot of pain. What saddens the most is that they were so young and had to suffer so much. It is atleast comforting to think they are now pain free and happy s

Dez, thank you ((hugs)), i read your msg on FB too. The clinic where they died was actually the vets place. That was not the culprit..they did all they could to save their lives...giving IV etc.
The shelter from where we adopted them is the sickest place i can ever imagine. They don't care about the animals there. 8 out of 10 kittens or puppies don't make it. Out of the 1 that gets adopted, that anyways passes away too. It frightens me to think of the other babies and animals that pass away at the shelter, unattended and deprived of medical care
It is not a shelter, it is a slaughter house. We are so mad Want to do something about this...but don't know what to. So many like minded people like us have spoken to them about the importance of taking care of new arrivals, separating them, etc. but they just don't care.

Priya...that is heartbreaking. I had no idea that you were dealing with tha situation.

Priya, I'm so sorry you lost both of your little angels in such a cruel way!
You and Dev have my greatest admiration for all that you have done for them.
I hope the pain in your hearts will be soothed thinking of the two adorable kittens free of pain, playing beyond the rainbow bridge, chasing clouds.
I hope it wil be possible to do something about that horrible shelter.
