| Thank you that is great i will do that if i catch him he seems quiet well havnt seen him regurgitate seed again he drinks and eats alot. I think he just sits around a bit lost and shocked looking like he doesnt no what to do.
I have made a trap its not great but its sort of like what he would be used to going in, it took a while to make, bending the wire took ages and by the time it was done he was gone for the night but hopfully he will be back to day and fingers crossed he will go in it otherwise i will have to think of another plan. | |

| I'm guessing he will return, Rachel. Although these guys don't want to be caught, they still seem to come back to the same spot. It's almost as if they know they have found a safe haven. They are just going to give us a run for our money and show us we really have to work to catch them. | |

| Didnt manage to catch him yesterday but hopfully i will to day fingers crossed. He got so close yester day and is obviously comfortable arround the trap and surrounding as he stayed an the feeding platform for ages his poos look good they are a light brown colour with some white. Here is a pic of him i took yesterday the platform he is sitting on is my trampaline thats where i feed the pigeons that come in my garden and that where i have set the trap which you can see just in the corner of the pic i know it looks rubbish but it was made quickly and as long as it does the job thats all that matters | |

| Sorry i didnt update again last night my laptop wouldnt work. I am feeling upset and worried my little pigeon didnt turn up yesterday and im rather sure i would have got him as well but there was no sign of him at all i kept checking evry few hours. Im guessing maybe he is on his way back home hopfully something worse hasnt happened. I am missing him alot i only knew him for 3 days but he made me so happy i had fallen in love with him id even named him Jasper. Hopfully he is ok and is on his way home and hopfully his owner isnt nasty. Oh maybe he will turn up to day ! I allways have food out as i feet the local wood pigeons and i think a pair are building a nest in my tree so if he comes back he will have food and i will leave the trap out for a few more days just incase. Thank you everyone for all the help i wish i could have caught him i was looking forward to getting him putting him in something safe then rushing in to type on here ive caught him. If he doesnt come back then i am planning to rescue an x racer that is going to be culled to mix with my girl so at least i will be saving a life. thanks agin will let you know if he returns x | |

| Mabe he just needed a safe place to recoup before heading on home, Rachel. Maybe the experience was a dress rehersal of sorts. You tried your best. | |

| And so do I! You did all you could do. If you are meant to help him, then he'll come back. But perhaps, as Charis said, what was meant to happen was for you to know exactly what to do and be ready when a similar situation calls for your help. I hope you get the ex-racer, and save him from being culled! | |
