Need advice quickly...

PigeonKid...that is a really bad splay leg. Instead of putting the leg into the correct position, try moving into the right position up high, where the leg connects to the body.
If you can get it inot the correct position, you maybe can tape the upper legs under the tummy area with a loose tape that sticks to itself, which will make it weasy to remove and check. That would also put the legs in a pcorrect position. Really though, at this point, I think the baby should be evaluated by a veterinarain.
Could be the baby is lacking in calcium.

For future...legs should never be allowed to get in such bad shape befor taking action to correct them.

Pigeonkid.........I agree with Charis. That is really severe splay legs. As Charis suggested I would tape the legs at the top above the knee joint. I would then put the baby in a donut hole nest so that the bottom legs would dangle and not have any pressure on them.

If at all possible, I would get this baby to a Vet.

Thats one of the worst cases I've seen but it looks as though the baby is young enough to still coeect the splaying without hurting the pigeon.

I wonder too if its not getting enough calcium, can you add exrta to the parents feed?

His splayed leg got much, much better. But unfortunately, yesterday he died. :(
