The newspaper article is not anti-pigeon, which is good!
I would just love it if someone took this opportunity to do a rigorous scientific study of what is happening and why. That would be really helpful.

Meanwhile, it's obvious that someone is making a lot of money out of this:

I hate to sound so cynical but something feels very wrong about this.

This is a city that condones the poisioning of birds at all the major casinos. Go to the strip.....you would be hard pressed to find any pigeons.

In this town everything is about the money. I'm sure some city councilman has a relative that is selling this stuff, and got him the contract with the county.

I'll do some research and see if I can find out any further info.
