| Teresa...probably he has a worm that the wormers you used won't kill. I went through that with a rescue a couple of years ago. I'd worm for one kind, knock it down, only to have another worm to emerge in her droppings. It was amazing enough that the worms were identifiable as they don't necessarily pass with every dropping, making a worm infestation difficult at best to identify. The most complete wormer I have found is Modectin Plus by the Australian Pigeon Company. | |

| Yes, Moxidectin Plus is the next wormer I want to get. It covers any thing in the way of worms. And you can put it in the drinking water. | |

Yes you can but it tastes awful and the very best way is to treat each bird individually. I put it in the chicken's as per instuctions for chickens and it made the water look very odd and smell odd too. The chickens wouldn't touch it.

| I'd asked my vet about it, but nobody here knows it. She said, however, that whatever the Ivermectin doesn't get, the Pyrantel pamoate will. I'm not sure, as I don't see much of an improvement at the moment. I'd rather get the Moxidectin Plus. Do you order direct from the Australian Pigeon Co? I visited their site once and you need to be a member to order from them. Couldn't find a supplier in the UK (they sell different brands) and the ones in the States wouldn't ship overseas.
I've emailed Foy's to ask if they will ship overseas, as their shipping information isn't clear, and only seems to apply to the US.

| Foy's will ship overseas but I don't know if they carry it.
I'm happy to order it and send it to you.

| Charis, sorry about the very late reply, but I've been too sleepy to manage to read the info on the website properly. This time I did, but I didn't see any info about shipping abroad, so I emailed them to ask. If they say 'no' I will definitely be taking you up on your offer. Thank you so much for that -- and for the link! | |
