Canker actually isn't a much misused term at all.

Canker is canker (Trichomoniasis being the technical name) and Salmonellosis is Salmonellosis.
Two different illnesses.

The culture dish is showing Candida albicans.

This morning he exhibit signs of neurological injury; I don't expect him to make the day.
