Pigeon Angels, please sign to save pigeons in Portugal

I had written, some time ago, that Portuguese pigeons were saved by legislation from death sentences.

I had been told a bunch of lies...

Pigeons have been caught and horribly killed, the public were fed lies, and the pigeon friends were mocked and persecuted.

This shame and barbarity cannot continue! Please sign the petition below, asking the authorities to create municipal lofts from where all but one egg per couple per year will be removed and replaced by fake eggs.

I am so sorry about what's happening to the Portugese pigeons, Teresa.
And to be told lies about what going on only adds insult to injury.

I hope enough voices will speak out for those who can't speak for themselves.

When I have a little more time I will post here the messages I received from the author of the petition about what is really happening and the hassle she got. (Can't just copy and paste, I'll have to translate the messages, so that takes a bit longer.)

In less than 2 weeks the petition has got 615 signatures, out of 1000, which was the goal!
