If you are unable to get Kaytee Exact or any other baby bird formula, Chick Rearing Crumbs, soaked in hot (not boiling) water, liquidised and sieved three times is a good alternative. Serve warm (39C) , very thin for a hatchling and gradually thiickening as the baby grows older.

I want to add, that if you have a very young baby, 1-7 days old, they must be kept warmer than 80 degrees... closer to 98 degrees.
