- Me too! Pigeon chose really nice place to nest. High, comfortable, with changing view (I always wanted rotating house), lots of building material nearby (twigs from the broom). LOL Thank you Cynthia!

Earlier this year I entered a competition on Springwatch to find the UK's strangest nesting place. I came 2nd with a pigeon that was nesting in a green monster's mouth at the entrance to the Ghost Train at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. As the monster was continually moving backwards & forwards, the management were advised to keep the machine on 24hrs so as not to spook the mum if the movement stopped. The BBC also sent a film crew up to Blackpool and the pigeon was featured on BBC NorthWest.

Great videos! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Both pigeons seem quite content in their 'motion' homes.

This is soooooo funny and ! It reminds me of human babies which continuously scream when they are not rocked in a cradle.

Those videos are amazing. The babies will think they're being rocked in a cradle. LOL. Too much!

Not too far from me, there is an old WWII Bomber on display. For years, Pigeons roosted inside and raised their young. Recently I noticed that access has been screened off. It was a perfect Pigeon loft. The Pigeons still perch on top of it. I'll try to get some pictures soon.
Let's all keep out cameras handy so that if we notice an unusual Pigeon roosting site we are ready to take a picture and share.
