| I know it is not quite simple to answer this but did anyone of you ever notice a change in behaviour of your birds when exposed to music?
I have realized that Pina loves music. This evening I was sitting at my computer and the soft music that I am regular playing stopped for a while. Pina jumped down from her sideboard in the bookshelf and then flew up again. Normally this is our signal for communicaton. She flies down to the floor and up again when she wants to be let out. This works in the morning and always during the day when she was inside to take a little nap. I find this amazing enough that she never panicks when she has to wait a little while before I open the balcony door.
And now this. The music is playing and Pina lies completely relaxed and half sleepy on her little post... :That\\\'s so f | |

| I know they like music. I'm embarrased to tell you but what the heck... When Romey was young, I would sing to her. When I sang, she would dance. I would terll my friends...you must come and see Romey dance. and the words to the song went like this... Oh Romey, Romey....dance for me Or Romey, Romey...I can see How very special...you are to me Oh Romey, Romey...dance for me... Over and over I would repeat it and Romey would circle and bow to the beat. It was the cutest thing ever and my guest would laugh and laugh...mostly at my singing, I think. Caleb would just roll his eyes. Maybe he was having some recollection of the song I sang to him when I changed his y diapers! :That\\\'s so f | |

| Charis, there is nothing to be embarrased about, I sing too, but only to my feathered public.:) I gave up singing in front of humans when my father asked me some 25 years ago not to, if I don't want him to loose his job. | |

| I know that our parrots love music, our cockatoo loves dancing with me to rock & roll When cleaning the lofts I play music but haven't noticed any different behavior in the flocks. I do know for a fact that when I work on any of my art projects my dear dove has to be out of her cage to supervise everything that I do She's a very curious young lady. | |
