| http://www.hm-e.net/care.htmIn addition...only ship birds on Monday or Tuesday and never, ever during a week that has a holiday during which the PO is closed. You can't just show up at the Post Office with birds to be mailed. You must call a head of time and make a reservation. The Post Master can tell you when you make the reservation, what time the birds will leave the Post Office, so you can arrive at check in a couple of hours prior to that time so the birds won't need to stay in the box any longer than necessary. When I have shipped birds, I took them directly to the Post Office near the airport to cut their box time down even more.

| just read this post and awesome information. I haven't personally sent any birds through the mail yet but do look forward to doing so in the near future. This was very helpful. Thanks! | |

| Great info Charis What do you think about shipping birds internationally? Won't be safe isn't it? | |

| Personally...I don't think mailing any bird, to any location, is a good idea. | |
