To correct the splay Gonzo's legs were drawn together with a double thickness self adhesive support bandage. This bandage is soft and cushioned. She could still walk and perch, with much more comfort than before.
The bandages were changed regularly and he was given some bandageless hours so that he didn't become too stiff. After 3 weeks they were permanently removed.
