Robin, she is just precious. I'm glad the parents are able to feed her well. I thought birds with the short beaks couldn't feed their young. Or will you eventually have to take over? Just wondering. She sure is cute.

Yesterday I had to pull JuJuBee, 7 days old, mom & dad just couldn't feed her any longer.
Her crop was only partly full at noon and she was very hungry. Disappointed
I knew this would happen but was holding out for as long as possible.

JuJuBee is now in the brooder in the office Our Stettiner Tumblers have a baby! - Page 2 395766 I love it/them No wonder her parents couldn't keep up, she seems to have a bottomless crop! That's too funny

Appreciate the update, Robin. Hi there/Bye

I'm sorry Mom and Dad could no longer feed JuJuBee.
Knowing that this breed has a problem feeding their babies sure helps.

Please keep us posted on how things are coming along. Smile

She see's her briefly when I take JuJuBee out of the brooder to feed her, but she can hear her squeeking! Laughing

Precious is very grumpy the last week, she/he is growing up & attacking my hand when I get her/him out of the cage. Serious EEK!!
