I had never thought about it but I did a little research and yes, they can be microchipped.
I'm wonder how many would think about if if they found a lost bird.

It seems with dogs and cats, it's almost automatic to check if they have been microchipped in an attempt to locate the owner.

Many of the expensive parrot species have been micro chipped for years.

I hate the big needle they use to put the chip in with.
