In loving memory of Lucky

I have just read the saddest news that Lucky, a sweet little cat beloved of our member Priya, has passed away from a terrible disease that went undiagnosed until it was too late.



Priya did everything that was humanly possible to make sure that Lucky had the best of care, but the vets misdiagnosed his heart condition as diabetes, and their mistake caused this tragic loss.
The illness that cost Lucky his life was Arterial Thromboembolism, and Priya, with tremedous courage and fortitude, wrote an extensive post about it, its symptoms and its treatment, so as to protect others from the pain she's going through:

Such a beautiful tribute, Priya, very sad but very moving.
I'm sure he's looking down on you with his eyes full of love, and being your own personal little guardian angel.

I can understand your sorrow and pain, but Lucky needs you to be strong for all those who love you and need you. You cannot see him now, but he's really only a heart-beat away...
