| What a great story that is! Made me tear up (happy tears) at the end because I believe the same things. I don't understand why people automatically step on a spider on the sidewalk? It's not harming you, it's just going about its business of being a spider. Humans are so quick to eliminate that which inconveniences us or we don't understand. Anyway, I can relate to Lovelyflight because I was afraid of birds too, until I had to rescue a baby pigeon that had fallen out of the nest one night. I guess i expected some sort of reaction akin to Hitchcock's The Birds. Instead, I felt a warm little beating heart and a trusting nature when I picked the little sweetie up and put him back in the nest. It was Oliver, who had a bit of a learning disability I think, but with support from Peg, Peter and me, grew up to be a beautiful young guy and very healthy. Oh there I go again, blathering on.
Anyway, beautiful story about Lucky  | |

| Lovely story, especially since she was afraid of birds before she found Lucky. | |
