I'm desperately in need of help.

I know that was a difficult moment having to put Birdy in the box. But, before he's knows it, he will be in his new home but still dreaming of you and all the wonderful things you did for him. They never forget a true and that is you.

Louise we are very excited to welcome Birdy into our pigeon family

I have decided that since he is used to being inside we will be putting him in a large cage in the basement close to our doves, it's suppose to rain for a couple of days here so I may delay moving him into the loft. He will have to doves to keep in company, in seperate cages.

I'll call you once he arrives & we get him settled.

I know I am propably worrying needlessly and acting like an overprotective mother, but I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT BIRDY.

I have been monitoring the USPS tracking system most of the night and they didn't even put the tracking number into the system until after midnight. They only show a record of him being delivered yesterday and no further information as to his whereabouts.

Believe me.........if I have not heard from Robin by 3:00PM her time of his arrival, I will be at the Post Office. I pity the poor postal worker that will have to contend with me.

I will have no peace until I know Birdy is safe.

Louise I too am not happy with how slow they are at updating the tracking.

I've been through this before and the birds arrived on time in perfect condition.

But I have to admit I will also be on pins & needles until his arrival.

* If Birdy doesn't arrive at exactly 3:00 PM and you do go to the PO to inquire, please don't go in with guns blazing.
It's not going to help your health and could possibly put the clerk on the defense.
I would suggest (if the need arises) you ask the clerk to speak with the postmaster and explain the situation to him.
I think that would expedite matters. JMO

It just becomes difficult when dealing with people that just do not care.

I know how worrisome it can be. I've been there, on the recieving end. Three pigeons were sent to me from FL to evade being poisoned. As Robin has stated, I was also on pins and needles until those pijjies were in my possession.
Thankfully, there was not a hitch in the trip.

They are very- very- very -s---l---o---w--- @ updating their systems.

When Journey was sent to me... I had to do serious investigating to find his location... They didn't track his number like they were supossed to...(So I was told afterwards) I just happened to stumble upon the locations for intake in Phoenix... and picked one to drive to... THANK goodness I had picked the main one! When I got there he had not even been scanned in... and they looked at me stunned.. . that I even knew he was there.

Point being.... I'm sure he is fine... but they just haven't scanned him in yet.

Robin... you could always find the main intake P.O. and go down there ...and ask to check ALL of the LIVE intake boxes..for your name.



I'm waiting on pins and needles with everyone else... . Can't wait to hear of his safe arrival!

Louise was told that Birdy would arrive here at 3PM my time so I'm not overly worried yet.

The PO here that the birds go through is really pretty good, they deal with chicks throughout the spring & early summer and I've never had a problem with this office letting me know when a bird has arrived.
Its too early for me to start wondering yet but at 2:30 PM I'll start

Good News!!!..........They just updated the tracking info and it shows that Birdy has left the Milwaukee station and is in route to his destination.

I am starting to relax a little bit.

Can't wait until he arrives at Robin's
