My attempts are on hold for now, as George is nervous about his new surroundings, Sammy drops his head as soon as he sees the camera, Piper isn't talking to me at the moment (she hates meds and cinnamon tea!) and Hercules would probably swallow the camera! :That\\\'s so f

Me snuggling Screech when he was a youngster, and had bathed for the first time with the rest of the gang. It was a bit cool out at the time, and didn't want him getting a chill, so I wrapped him in paper towels. He snuggled right in and seemed to enjoy the warmth.

Charis, in the picture it looks as though you are expecting him to try. Unfortunately, I've met with a couple of pigeon beaks to the eye myself. Not a pleasant experience.

Thank you Charis, of course he's a big boy now. All grown up and past the snuggling stage. I like them at that stage.

I like the snuggling stage too. Too bad it doesn't last just a little longer.

No, Georgie has a cage to sleep in at night. Since she's semi-blind we cannot risk that she'll get up to no good in the night.

My pleasure! It's my favourite photo of Georgie and me. She's such a darling and loves to snuggle up to me when I'm watching TV or reading (although she doesn't like it when I change the pages of the book... funny girl. She also attacks my mobile phone if I'm texting).

To me it evokes all the delight that such moments can bring... bonding communion and friendship building... relaxation and elation... You have it all wound up there in a very lovely portrait. I would have that one framed, for sure!
