Please forgive me for not knowing more about your pair but it sounds to me that they may be inexperienced with setting eggs.

Being flighty or easily scared could be the reson for cracked eggs.

I would add extra calcuim & treats for the pair & next time they lay I would switch them with dummy eggs.

The hen is an 09 bird so i'm guessing thats the case. Also i do provide grit and oyster shell for them. I will try what you've suggested. Thank you.

Your birds need vitamin D to process the calcium, so please look for a vitamin that has calcium and vitaminD.
