My new squeaker, Charlie, has become an excellent flier (and a good wingslapper too, ) and she too plays up no end when it's time to go back to the cage! So out comes the step-ladder, windows get shuttered, and she gets caught in no time!

I think you need to invest in one of those fishermans nets with a long pole attached.

She's a naughty little Beatle Bug, but it's great that she's such a good flier!
Is she releaseable or is she too human-imprinted?

She is Fallen and Blue's baby. Blue is a fancy, Danish pigeon and so I don't know how well she would do in the long run. I do think I will take her to Landy's though, where she can come and go as she wants. She would like that.

I noticed just a bit ago that she is trying to get the cage door open with her beak. It just slides up and so that may be something she is able to accomplish on her own.

She is part feral and I really think she will be ok in the flock that will come and go. She also has become very wild, far different from the little baby I took to the play for all the children to pet. Actually...I'm quite amazed at how wild she has become.

Some do get that way no matter how much 'human' contact they've had.
