| Everytime I catch these two together the cameras in the house and by the time I get it and get back to the loft the two aren't sitting together The big bowl that Birdy has taken over is suppose to be a feed dish, I always try to at least have 2 feeders because of a feeder bully. Anyway this dish is now Birdy's nest, it not only has pigeon feed in it BUT a few pieces of straw for nesting! Yep thats right Louise a nest I am positive that the little German Modena & Birdy are an item I will keep you posted if they do produce eggs, but please understand that the real eggs will be replaced with dummies. | |

| Don't suppose he could be just staking a claim to the feed dish? Only kidding! Cute shot. | |

| I'm so glad to hear Birdy is settling in, Robin. He is literally settling in, in the seed dish. That little hen is quite a cutie. Her feather coloring is gorgeous. | |

| I am thrilled beyond words that birdy has for sure found his mate. His little girlfriend is just beautiful..................I am so happy for them. You are not going to believe this.........he found HIS NEST........the feeding dish that he has taken over is the same dish that he had in his cage here. He had a little towell in it and he slept in it every night. I still can't figure out how to upload pictures, so I have sent a picture of his dish to Charis and she will post it for me............The dish is EXACTLY the same. I am now using it as a water dish for the dogs. I am 100% convinced that Birdy has settled in perfectly and feels right at home back in his same old nest. Thank you so much for everything Robin...........I cannot tell you how very, very happy I am. Louise | |

| Birdy is using the same style, size and color nest bowl that he used when he lived couple thousand miles from where he is now. That is pretty darn incredible and too . | |

| Isn't that just too funny! What are the chances that I would use the same type of bowl when I very well could have used another style! I too can finially stop worring about Birdy. I always worry about the new pigeons that move into one of the lofts, it can be very stressful to the whole flock. Louise I thought you might be tickled pink and yes you don't have to worry anymore about Birdy. Thanks everyone for the kind words & I'll keep you all updated. | |

It's already been done. There's times when it breaks my heart to switch but it's our policy.

It might be different if they were a true breed but most if not all are crosses.

| Many thanks for the update, Robin. Birdy and Greta look quite happy. With regard to your not being able to post multiple photos in one post, I don't think it's on this end as I just tried and was able to post a couple photos in a post. Please don't hesitate to submit multiple posts to get your photos posted. We sure don't want to miss any.
