Thank you so much Robin. Yes, the thought and very sight of poor Cookie has us in tears. She is a very special and loving kitten and we really hope she can get a good home soon. All your encouraging and caring words keeps us going and makes us want to do more

Thanks Charis Sia is such a doll baby! Very very sweet...doesn't fuss at all. She doesn't complain being in the cage for most parts and the best thing is, she eats on her own!!
We still remember how difficult it was for Dev to handle Mito as he would never eat on his own...it was after a real long time that he learnt. But Sia is such a smarty! She eats and drinks on her own, doesn't fuss and is doing great. She has put on more weight. Today will be the second round of appertex for her.

It occurs to me, Dev and Priya, that your medications may be getting low and so you should make an account of what you have so you can replace what you have used to enable to to be ready for the next Pigeon that needs you help.

Thank you Cindy, Charis, Teresa and Rattyfield She definitely is something else! Today Dev left her free for a while in the room and what do we see? We were scared that Mito might scare her...but after the initial hitches, here was Sia dominating over Mito :eek: Mito seemed so irked by what was happening...the poor fella. Dev had a tough time catching Sia back and putting her in the cage

Charis, that's so kind and wonderful of you to offer to send us medicines yet again. We will surely see what we need and let you know. Why don't you see what things you can obtain there and the rest can be sent. So you need to look for metronidazole, spartrix for canker, appertex or albon for coccidia and you need a wormer. How much ivermectin is left? I seem to remember that you can get baytril...right?
Did you find out if you can buy from that supply that sells medicine for chickens?

We can get only Metrodinazole here We searched in vain for Ivermectin, Spartrix, Appertex, Enro, but no luck. Just one or two had Ivermectin and Enro available but they either refused to retail in India or took only bulk orders not less than 15 litres

The pharmacy i had mentioned to you again refused to sell us the meds and told us they take only bulk orders...i guess i had told you about it Searched for it in my sent items and pasting it below But yeah we will continue searching to see if by any miracle we find any here.

"Also wanted to let you know, I called up that pharmacy and it's back to square one...it seems they take only bulk orders and for a minimum of 100 birds I tried reasoning with them that i need it for treating rescued birds and that Enro-10 is very essential for that...when they have 500ml vials, what could they lose in selling it individually? But that nut on the phone wouldn't have it any other way...she kept repeating the same thing..."no ma'am we take only bulk orders". I am so very fed up with things here Later on this..."

Priya, regarding your med I have an unusual suggestion for you - at least for Spartrix try Ebay international - see link

these people ship from UK to India.
Did you try international online pharmacies for your supply? They usually ship smaller quantities.

Charis, I only have Betnesol and not baytril :( I will search if Baytril is available here. Once we have the list medicines that are not available here, I would come back and bug you

Petra & Cindy, sure we will try that out :) Haven't tried to order and get them shipped yet. Thanks for the link.

Dev...you may be able to find other medications there too. They could be under medications for fish such as Fishzole[metronidazole], Fishmox [amoxicillin], Aqua-floxin [ciprofloxacin].

Cool Ebay sounds like a good option...will check it out
