You've taught me that hens can mimick the males, but does it happen the other way round, too? There's this big blue-bar, cheeky as anything, really friendly. I called him Gallahad because he is so fearless, but I strongly suspect he's the grown-up version of Tweedledee, one of two very bold youngsters who used to come right into the room for treats.
Well, over the last few days, if I'm working when he arrives, he sits on the windowsill calling for me, with that soft, low voice the girls have when they're asking for treats... So, does it happen that, just as there are feminist hens, there are also cockbirds who are in touch with their feminine side?...
One occasion he was impatient but my phone was ringing, so I tried to get him to answer the phone for me to speed things up... He didn't like that at all! Look at this:

That's Tigerseye, but he's not as daring...

One thing you've found out, Gallahad doesn't seem to be into 'talking' on the phone, or even being near one.

Not bad enough that you were waving something toward him, but on top of that, it was ringing! He must have thought, "I'm outta here!"

Well, he was back a few seconds later, so he wasn't scared, just annoyed! The ring tone is quite soft anyway, as I can't bear loud noises near me. The video always makes me laugh because it seems to me he's saying, 'What did your last secretary die of, then?!'
