| What a happy Precious! And no wonder, he got his own way! (Don't let him get hold of the TV remote...) | |

| He certainly thinks he's precious! He's such a bossy boy, even in his cage he coo's. strutts & puffs up to show the other's who's boss! And even though he has a crossed beak this boy can bite when he wants! Such a big personality in a precious package. | |

| Well I have proof that Precious is a hen, she laid an egg! I think baby Toad brought out her maternal instincts! | |

| Oh wow! So Precious is a hen! Now that's a surprise.
Our house Pij Scooter, we are still not sure of what he/she is, as they can often act alike. Thought he was a boy, then we were sure it was a girl. We have had Scooter for 15 months now, and so far, no eggs. I actually am hoping he is a male. That way we avoid any egg problems. Well congrats on having a Precious little hen Robin.

| Robin, I'm sure you were surprised That's exactly how I felt about Little Feathered Feed. She was quite agressive and very teritorial of her space.....I would have sworn she was a male as well..........until the egg!!! I think it was the little stuffed animal I put in the cage. She is still without a mate, but is laying eggs now on a regular basis. Well atleast now you know and can fix her up with one of those proud males that have been longing for a mate. Louise | |

| Congratulations, Robin! Just proves again that pigeons are masters at deception, when it comes to gender. | |

Just proves again that pigeons are masters at deception, when it comes to gender. Ain't that the truth! Precious was acting just like a male, puffing up & strutting, pushing me around whenever I put my hand in her cage! Maybe she's just a strong independent female!

| So it's Ms Precious?! I remember the day when I asked the dreaded question, 'How can I tell the sex of my pigeon?', and the answer I got: 'Only a pigeon can tell the sex of another pigeon, and even they make mistakes sometimes...' Congratulations to Precious on her first egg! I wonder if Toad will turn out to be a boy... | |
