I've been wondering the same thing all night It worries me because of the weather.

Portland is definitely experiencing some very frigid weather.

This is where I noticed her yesterday morning.

She made it through the night and this is where I finally spotted her...alone and huddled up against the building.

Bless her heart for hanging on.

Impossible to catch with no place to corner her. Poor little soul, wanting to be caught but instinct telling her to fly away.
This is very painful to watch. Her only hope is for her to weaken and for me to get her before it's too late. I had to leave for a while. It's just too cold.
There were very few pigeons there this morning. usually they fly at my car when I round the corner. I put down some food for them but they were hesitant to eat. There must be a hawk about.

No. Sadly I was unable to catch her.

Those are great pics. Really shows the situation. Thanks. I wish I were there to help you corral her. How well is she flying at this point? The scary thing is that I bet there are rats or something under that building that could grab her. Hope not!

I'm pretty sure there is basement under that building, Jay. She does fly off at night. It may just be to the roof of the building.

Almost caught her. There is a lean to attached to an automotive shop around the corner and I saw she was trying to get through the cyclone fence. In front of the fence is a laurel hedge to hide inside of. I'm going back before dark.

I hear ya!!

I went back just before dark and she was no where to be seen.
I walked the area, looked behind bushes, under cars and trucks parked there for the weekend...nothing. I drove the surrounding blocks, four times and I never found her. I came home when it was dark.
It's so cold tonight.

If the poor thing could only understand how much you want to help her. You have been trying so hard. I pray that she is safe.
