Cynthia Since I haven't heard anything from Kim, I'm hoping he's at least holding his own and hopefully doing better. I just did get the photos sent to Dr. Walker.

Cynthia I received a reply from Dr. Walker last evening. (The greeting name is going to be a little confusing as I use my given name, Cynthia rather than Cindy, with most correspondence). Cynthia,
Your email has been forwarded to me by Birds R Us for comment. It looks like there has been some loss of tissue on the top of the head wither as a result of injury or infection. Can you give me some history? For example has the bird been pecked by other birds? What did the initial lesion look like, how long has it been there etc? Have you had the bird examined by a vet and if so do you have any test results?
Regards, Colin Walker Avian VetI have replied, answering his questions as best I can.Cindy

| Interesting comment about the loss of tissue.
I always assume that everybody will understand that our questions are about ferals with no history. He probably assumes that all enquiries are about homers with owners that have access to an avian vet.
