The Littlest Angel

I just realized this morning that I can begin the weaning process and so I've started supplimenting Angel with defrosted corn and peas. They are a big hit.
This little bird is a real joy.

Three cheers for Angel, beginning to eat on her own.

She will be off to your "Pijie Buffett" with the others before you know it!

This is such a joy to watch him becoming stronger and stronger!
Charis, I think you have really created a miracle here - I am so curious how this little Rambo Angel is developing and truly bathing in your love

Angel is doing well...drinking and starting to eat on his own. He is still very small.

I think that the nice family that incubated him are going to adopt him as a permanent family member.

Charis, how cool is that? I only hope that he will not be left alone and gets a friend - pijjies love company so very much - I see this with our youngsters!

little Angel eating on his own and squeeling for more. He has graduated into a cage with a mirror and he loves it.

He's looking great, Charis -- and he's lovely! My goodness, the peas and corn ARE a big hit, just look at that full crop!

I just gotta squeeze those FURRY FUZZY feathers !!!!!! So stinkin' cute!!!!

Angel is going to live with the family that incubated him. They will be picking him up Sunday morning. I will retain visiting rights and he will be the bird I use for education. This is a win-win for all of us and I am just thrilled.

I know this family has been keeping a very close vigil on Angel and is truly in love with him.
